Democratic fundraising juggernaut ActBlue slashed 17 percent of its workforce on Monday, less than two months after its union gleefully announced it had struck a landmark collective bargaining agreement with the company that raised the bar on how employees should be treated.
The ActBlue Tech Workers Union/CWA has been voluntarily recognized by ActBlue Technical Services’ management. The workers will be members of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 1400. The union, comprised of 80 workers, and management plan to promptly begin negotiations for a collective bargaining agreement.
