The annual awards program honours and celebrates outstanding projects by Brisbane architects, spanning multiple sectors including education, commercial, heritage and residential design.
Queensland’s largest commercial building landlord, Charter Hall along with its joint venture partner Investa, is working with Blight Rayner Architecture to create an $800-million ‘quintessentially Brisbane’ office building that is inspired by the city’s natural environment.
Greater Brisbane projects received a total of 48 additional regional commendations across the award categories. All of the commended projects have now been shortlisted for the Australian Institute of Architects’ Queensland Architecture Awards to be announced in June 2023.
A new world-class sport facility is currently being built in Brisbane at St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School as part of the Ambiwerra Sports Precinct Redevelopment.
