auntie, the whole team. she saw the story. she decided she was just like her when she was her age. she invited the family up and said, we want to have you up on an all black female-led science tour, black female scientist tour. they wanted to just uplift her and make sure she knew she was okay in what she was doing but also that, hey, yale recognizes you. you are one of us. they wanted to make sure to change the trajectory of the day. it was all about her. it s an incredibly positive experience. do you now want to be a scientist? do you want to study lantern flies? is there other scientific work you would like to do next? i m a chemist. i like to mix stuff. i m probably going to make the solution and probably different stuff, too. very good. i have to say, you must be so
