election, we re still uncovering more attempts by donald trump to overturn results. according to a new report in the washington post, president trump tried to pressure doug ducey to overturn the election results, saying if now fraudulent votes could be found, it could overcome trump s narrow loss in arizona. we re learning about the content of this conversation for the first time. we already knew trump and ducey spoke after the 2020 election. trump tried to call ducey while he was certifying the election for biden on an official government live stream. on 2020, ducey was literally signing the papers to end the election, seated in front of the press. but you have to listen carefully. you can make out hail to the chief as ducey reaches into his pocket to silence the call. the ring tone is just spectacular. ducey did eventually speak to trump. did not record the call. but we have some idea what it might sound like because trump made a lot of calls in multiple states, tryi
arraigned on six felony charges today, but we saw his attorney to appear, and he is to answer to conspiracy to obstruct justice, and this is all connected to helping former president trump hide document, and they say they have movement of nauta moving the documents around the mare m mar-a-lago home, and he was also discussing the documents. and so, katelyn, this morning, we were waiting for walt nauta to be arraigned, and is that a surprise? it is a twist that makes it a full month following indictment of walt nauta where he is not going to be entering the initial pleading of not guilty, and that is because he could not get a flight to get him into miami in time. the attorney told the judge that he was not there because he spent eight hours on the airport tarmac, and he was not able to get a flight in this morning in time for this arraignment to enter that plea. and so what the judge did was he said that we will have another hearing on july 6th, and that is next thursday t
