There was a photo display for Veterans Day at the Union Springs Pharmacy featuring CW4 Jackie Gaston, veteran of the 1990-1991 Persian Gulf war.
The âWheelsâ sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Union Springs took local people on the âChristmas Tour of Homesâ in Eufaula, Saturday, December 4, 2010. Fourteen rode in two vehicles driven by Sally Hall and Howard Hall.

American National Bank has its 1996 calendar printed and it is a brite lite. The theme of the calendar is âWorking Together To Build A Better Community.â A poster contest of grade one through six was held and the winning posters have been used for the calendar pages.
