The Meadowlands announced on Wednesday, Jan. 17 that its entire 2024 stakes program will offer nearly $25 million USD in purses. Greatly enhancing the Grand Circuit stakes presence this year, the Breeders Crown will return to the Garden State.
Since its inception in 1977, the Meadowlands Pace has been regarded as one of the most important Grand Circuit stakes for three-year-old colt pacers and a difference maker for a horse that is a potential stallion prospect.
The Meadowlands has reported an enthusiastic response to the February payment for the track's signature event, the $700,000 (estimated) Meadowlands Pace.
