On Jan. 26, Pettis County Deputies attempted to stop a green Dodge Dakota on Highway 50 near Route MM for a careless and imprudent driver. As deputies activated emergency lights to stop the vehicle, the driver continued eastbound towards Sedalia. Due to the amount of traffic, deputies terminated the pursuit for safety reasons.
On Jan. 25, Sherry Sumner of Sedalia reported to the Pettis County Sheriff s Office that her license plate was either lost or stolen from her utility trailer in December.
On Jan. 25, Pettis County Deputies conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 50 near Crystal Springs Road in La Monte on a vehicle exceeding the speed limit. During the stop, deputies located marijuana as part of a probable cause search of the vehicle. The driver, Bianca Calderon of Knob Noster, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was charged with possession of marijuana and oper
