Things are starting to heat up at The Meadowlands, and what better way to kick off the 14-week Championship Meet this weekend than with the top simulcast event in all of horse racing serving as a prelude to the beginning of the harness stakes season with the opening leg of New Jersey Sire Stakes action on Saturday, May 4.
Two-year-old pacers Captain Albano and Geocentric will head to their respective Breeders Crown finals on Friday, Oct. 27 at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in a similar position. Each was made a 4-5 morning-line favourite to bring back a trophy.
The second night of Breeders Crown eliminations took place on Friday, Oct. 20 at Harrah's Hoosier Park with the finalists determined for the two-year-old pacing divisions and three-year-old filly divisions.
Two of the sport’s Top 10 stars, three-year-old female pacer Sylvia Hanover and two-year-old female pacer Geocentric, will lead a total of 60 horses into Friday’s Breeders Crown eliminations at Harrah’s Hoosier Park.
