BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ, January 25, 2021 – The Bernards Township Democratic Committee (BTDC) invites Democratic residents interested in serving to contact BTDC Chair Elizabeth Graner directly at info@btdems.org or complete the candidate application at www.btdems.org by February 19. Two Township Committee seats will be up for election this November and the Democratic candidate screening will be held during the last week in February.
“Our goal is to help elect individuals who will reflect the core values of the Democratic party, particularly fair representation of all people,” said Graner. “The recent refusal of our Township Committee, with the notable exception of Committeewoman Joan Bannan, to condemn the terrorist acts of January 6 at the Capitol is unacceptable. We need dissenting voices to hold our elected officials accountable.”
