This month, Funmi Afolayan will release her first album,
Oruko Oluwa. It was a pleasure for me to interview the singer and listen to the entire album. Mrs. Funmi Afolayan began her Christian ministry experience as a member of the enterprising Glorylanders of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Lagos. She then led the Praise Bells of Zion Faith Mission, Ibadan, another dynamic choir, of which she is still a member. She is a student in the Department of Social Works, University of Ibadan, and is married to Adeshina Afolayan, a professor of Philosophy in the same university. ....
