খান জাহান আলী ছিলেন একজন মুসলিম ধর্ম প্রচারক ও স্থানীয় শাসক। তার
সমাধিস্থলটিই খান জাহান আলীর মাজার নামে পরিচিত।
জানা যায়, শাসনকালে তিনি ৩৬০টি
মসজিদ এবং ৩৬০টি দিঘি খনন করেন। লোনা পানির অঞ্চলে এ দীঘিগুলো ছিল জনগনের কাছে
