No. 7 Texas snatched a 9-1 five-inning game win over Kansas to advance to the Big 12 Softball Championship finals in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Longhorns displayed a team-effort win with every player in the batting lineup contributing a hit, run or RBI. The Longhorns advanced to the semifinals following Thursday’s ball game against Texas.
The Tigers will face Texas, Fordham, Northwestern, Louisville and Prairie View A&M at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, FL for the three-day event
BATON ROUGE - The LSU softball team defeated Southeastern Tuesdays 11-2 to give them 15 wins in their last 17 games. It was a breakout game for Tiger Freshman Baylea Brandon who had 3 hits, 5 RBI s and hit her second home run of the year.
