bogus. okay. let s sort out exactly what s happening in the michael cohen legal battlings. in early march stormy daniels filed a civil suit in los angeles superior court. she s asking to be let out of a nondisclosure agreement about her alleged relationship with the president back in 2006. she s talked fairly openly about it. cohen paid daniels $130,000 in the days leading up to the 2016 election as part of that agreement. and back in new york the president s lawyers facing a separate criminal investigation which is led by the u.s. attorney for the southern district of new york. earlier this month fbi agents raided cohen s office and hotel room seizing records under a search warrant. federal agents are looking into potential bank fraud, wire fraud and possible campaign finance violations. did cohen do something by paying that $130,000 to stormy daniels so that the president didn t get
