Hanover Township will distribute holiday meal boxes beginning Thursday, Dec. 14 through Saturday, Dec. 23, at the Astor Avenue Community Center, 7431 Astor Ave., Hanover Park. Meal boxes will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Meal boxes will not be distributed Saturday, Dec. 16.
Join the fun at the Oktoberfest celebration in Bartlett s Leiseberg Park, 325 E. Devon Ave., from 4:30-10:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29 and noon to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Mother Nature did her best to rain on Bartlett s 4th of July parade Sunday, but despite record rainfall in parts of the area Sunday, the annual march went off without a hitch.
