WOLCOTT – Antoinette “Toni” Daddona passed away at her home on July 18, 2021, at the age of 95. She was the beloved widow of Joseph Daddona, her husband of 67 years before his passing in 2015.
She was born on March 31, 1926, in Waterbury, the youngest child of the late Vincent and Margarita Decarolis, and a loving sister to her brother, the late Vito Decarolis, and to her sister, the late Mary “Sizzy” Gillespie.
Toni grew up during the Great Depression where she learned the value making a little go a long way and of hard work and family. She supported her country during World War II as a ‘Donut Dolly’ and met the love of her life, Joseph “Joe” Daddona, as the war ended, enjoying 67 rich and full years together. They raised two beautiful girls, Joanne Pruner and Barbara Zappone in their house on Henry Street in Wolcott. ....
