possible obstruction. good morning and welcome to morning joe. it is monday, august 29th. it s pretty much the end of summer. there is new reaction this morning after a heavily redacted copy of the fbi affidavit used to justify the search of former president donald trump s mar-a-lago home was unsealed on friday. the 36-page affidavit removed details of the federal government s efforts to recover classified documents, including top secret information that trump is alleged to have illegal little taken from the white house at the end of his presidency. the affidavit states that in mid-may, fbi agents conducted a preliminary review of the contents of 15 boxes trump returned to the national archives from his florida property in january. quote, identified documents with classification markings in 14 of the 15 boxes. it states that agents found 184 unique documents that had classification markings. 25 documents were marked as top secret. 67 documents were marked as confidential.
good morning. and welcome to way too early. on this friday, august 19th. friday, folks. we made it. i m jonathan lemire. thanks for starting your day with us. the federal judge deciding whether to unseal the affidavit in the unprecedented search of mar-a-lago appeared to stake out the middle ground yesterday. saying he is inclined to unseal it, the magistrate judge gave the justice department until next thursday to submit redactions. in a written ruling, the judge stated, the government has not met its burden of showing that the entire affidavit should remain sealed. the judge said he would review the proposed reactions and then, redactions and decide if he agrees. he could not give a time line beyond next thursday saying quote this is going to be a considered careful process. the the government had argued against unsailing the affidavit laming it would jeopardize its investigation, and because it contains quote substantial grand jury information with national security over
graphic. you think about the person in the bar test. they look at the number of boxes, the number of documents. joe, i can tell you that there s some short-term within the republican party, political bump maybe for donald trump, but the long-term really looks bad. you talk to people who know how the justice department works, how doj operates. look at this. they knew that he had documents. they asked for them back. there s a lot of sign in these documents that he was not forthcoming about them, to say the least. that s kind of textbook of how doj operates. very difficult to prosecute someone for sedition. what we re seeing here, much less complex, much more what doj does. right. of course, the wheels of justice do turn slowly. you look at the investigation into the last democratic nominee for governor in the state of
impact of the search will be as we look toward november? i can tell you, jonathan, i know you re having these same conversations, that a lot of republicans think this is a reset for president trump. people who thought that florida governor ron desantis was moving into the pole position now think president trump is back. there s huge stakes for the justice department. when we see what they have, what they got, what they knew, will that clear the bar? will it pass the man in the bar test of what would have been reasonable? it s reengaged both sides. you just saw a graphic there from the axios visuals team. we were asking ourselves, as we saw these photos and documents come out of mar-a-lago, why is so much of this on literal paper? why is this printed out and in boxes behind a padlock in the era of the cloud and in the era of digital security?

Na místě neštěstí v tomto týdnu pomáhali kroměřížští dobrovolní hasiči. Další pomoc vznikala spontánně. Například na Základní škole Slovan mezi sebou zaměstnanci a školáci vybrali asi 70 tisíc korun, které poslali na pomoc lidem, jež tornádo připravilo o střechu nad hlavou.
