Now 52, Jane is married to Brian and the couple live in Bangor West with their daughters, 15-year-old Anna and 13-year-old Erin.
Throughout her swimming career, she has taken part in many open sea events, including the North Channel swim. Considered one of the most difficult in the Oceans Seven, the marine equivalent to the Seven Summits of mountain climbing, the North Channel is famed for cold water, strong currents, heavy swells and thunderstorms. ....
