Let s go through the baftas first. what you make of the early winners and what are you hoping to see? i think it s very exciting is that we had the craft awards last week, that was great to see so many different programmes doing well. nothing for it is a sin yet, which is surprising. nothing for it s a sin. we have the main categories to come so it ll be interesting to see. it s a sin, why is that leading the nominations? what was so good it? i think it was quite a radical new look at the aids crisis, particularly coming from russell t davies. he didn t win the writing award, but it s very exciting that he s bringing more of these sort of storylines to the screen, and hopefully he will be able to bring some of that back to doctor who. incredible that he seems to be at the fulcrum of almost every story today! i don t know if he planned it
