Want to update the breaking news about councilmember marion barry. He was involved in a car accident this evening around 9 00 in the 2900 block of pennsylvania avenue southeast. We just spoke with the police department. They are investigating this accident. There are reports that at least one of the vehicles may have been travel in the wrong direction. That is part of this investigation. We understand there were no life threatening injuries, only nonlife threatening injuries, minor damage in this accident.
