Derek drummond received three years for his part in the disorder which flared up in southport after three young girls were killed in a Knife Attack at a dance class. He was one of three men to be jailed at liverpool crown court. Declan geiran, seen here, and Liam James Riley were sentenced to 30 months and 20 months in prison, respectively. So far, more than 400 arrests have been made and about 100 people have been charged in connection with the national unrest. Police sources say nearly 6,000 officers have been mobilised in preparation for more violence there are reports up to 30 further demonstrations planned for wednesday.
