Medsafe, New Zealand’s medicines safety authority, has also assessed the vaccine to ensure it meets international standards and local requirements for quality and safety. New Zealand records adverse reactions to vaccines and other medicines through the Centre for Adverse Reactions Monitoring (CARM). Back Door Spa’s Michelle Hurnik, who has no medical training, said her position had not attracted any objections.
