Axis Bank also announced the reappointment of Meena Ganesh and Gopalaraman Padmanabhan as independent directors for a second term till July 31, 2028 and October 27, 2028 respectively.
The rate hikes could reach a point of inflection, which is “not far away”, said Axis Bank CEO Amitabh Chaudhry, adding that growth can be impacted in that case.
The companies said they have filed an application with SEBI for the proposed fund, which will be sector agnostic. It will have a target of Rs 3,000 crore and a greenshoe option of Rs 500 crore.
