So i want to begin asking you to discuss how your military background your writing of the book. Oh, okay. Well, you know, i think first of all, its important to, you know, you dont have to be have a military back ground to be a good military historian. I would say the greatest military historians havent had a military background. You look at some of the great military historians, atkinson and others, you dont have to have a military background. I do think that having extensive military experience like i do can maybe add some different perspectives to your research and writing. You know, little things like, you know, i know what it is like to slog through the

It is my pleasure to introduce kevin who will be discussing his new book, the complete Victory Saratoga and the american revolution published by oxford university. Im splendid, splendid addition with color, illustrations and an excellent map. Very useful. The battle at saratoga is often regarded as the turning part of the revolutionary war. Victory one by americans, generally believed that victory lies within the u. S. Kevin produced one of the most comprehensive accounts of the battle. Its of particular interest because hes a former Army Officer with 28 years of service. Granger of west concluded two combats and professorship in military theory and data of were college in pennsylvania. His previous book, the life of samuel was awarded to william toby award.
