On Thursday, the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Messer with two counts of felonious attempted first-degree murder and felonious attempting to discharge a weapon into an occupied dwelling.
Tyler Austin Messer, 29, was arrested and charged with assault by pointing a gun, trespassing and two stalking after repeatedly showing up at the home, asking for his father.
