Defending champion, Labasa came from behind to draw 1-1 with Suva in the first match of the Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion Series at the ANZ Stadium last night.
Suva scored just in the third minute through a powerful drive from defender, Remueru Tekiate.
Labasa kept looking for the equaliser however Suva s goalkeeper, Atunaisa Naucukidi played extremely well and made a number of one on one saves.
Suva led 1-0 at half-time.
Labasa made couple of changes in the second half and also brought veteran player, Taniela Waqa off the bench.
