The board, at its most recent meeting, voted unanimously to approve the site plan for the development proposed by NewVue Affordable Housing Corporation of Fitchburg. The cost of turning former classrooms and offices into apartments, as well as constructing a new building on site to accommodate additional units and community space, has been estimated at as much as $30 million. ....
