Multiple bidders in Meath, Westmeath and Longford
A number of good farms have sold well at auction. On Wednesday 23 June, Coonan Property sold 58ac at Follistown, Navan, Co Meath, by public auction at the Ardboyne Hotel.
The opening bid was €500,000. Four bidders brought the price to €660,000, at which point the farm went on the market, before being driven to a sale price of €710,000 or €12,240/ac by two bidders.

Murtagh Bros Auctioneers sold two blocks of land in an online auctions.
The first was 24.78ac at Lynn, Mullingar, sold on Thursday 24 June. After a competitive auction with a number of bidders, auctioneer Dillon Murtagh sold the property for €460,000 – equivalent to just over €18,500/ac.
