Rishab Shetty starrer Hero will arrive in theatres on March 5
Sandalwood’s popular hero MD director Rishab Shetty is looking forward to the release of his latest flick Hero. The movie which is slated to release on March 5, will be played in over 150 theatres across the state. The trailer of the film has been received with a lot of enthusiasm amongst fans as has the song Nenapina Hudugiye. Hero was shoot during lockdown in Chikmagalur in 45 days and has set a record in recent times for wrapping a film in such short duration.

The team was kept limited with only 24 people working on the film. Technically, too the movie has come out rather well, feels Rishab Shetty who has also produced the film. The film Hero, starring Rishab Shetty, will hold a special place for everybody who is a part of the project, since it was shot last year during the raging pandemic. The 24-member team, including every artiste and technician, had to work in the safest way possible, with whatever resources available around them. For Arvind Kashyap, the director of photography, it was more like a DIY (Do it Yourself) process on the sets, and the entire film was made with jugad.
“In the normal scenario, even with a low budget, we would at least have the basics things and a proper unit available. However, the making of Hero was done with a handful of cast and crew members,” says Aravind Kashyap. He, however, adds that the Covid-19 outbreak allowed him to explore, which is something he wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise, and it helped him in bringing more creativity at less cost.

After releasing the first-look, team Hero is coming up with the film’s trailer on Thursday on the occasion of Sankranthi. Ahead of its release, actor Rishab Shetty and debutant director M Bharath Raj have revealed a few details about the project.
Rishab, who is the face of Hero, says it was the first film to be shot post the lockdown.
“What usually requires around 100 people, we managed to shoot with a 24-member crew,” he said, expressing his happiness with the music composed by Ajaneesh B Loknath, who has done the background score and given music to three songs.
