Wayne County Deputies responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on IL64. 23-year- old Allen Hempensones of Mt. Vernon was traveling along Interstate 64 near mile marker 106 when for unknown reasons he left the roadway, striking a guard rail, and popping a tire. There were no injuries.
