On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of Queensland Veterans’ Council Bill 2021 - A bill for an Act to establish the Queensland Veterans’ Council and to amend the Anzac Day Act 1995, the Public Sector Ethics Regulation 2010 and the Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements Regulation 2019 for particular purposes, to which the Governor granted Assent.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM received Chief Justice of Queensland, the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes AC.
