car. police found the cab after getting a tip that it was parked in another apartment complex on 83rd avenue. the three suspects are still on the loose. the calm after the storm. a san jose neighborhood is back to normal following a 10-hour standoff. just before 2:00 this morning, a caller reported a man was stabbed inside the home of the rose garden neighborhood. that 51-year-old man died at a medical center. they tried to talk to the people in the home when it happened, but the person who answered the door refused to cooperate. they called in the swat team, forcing neighbors to evacuate before the man finally gave up. i think it was a little both, a combination of the officers continuing to try to have contact with this individual, and at some point, he actually came out, to my understanding. there was no confrontation, he actually came out and was cooperative at that point. it turns out several people were inside the home. they were all taken to the police department
