NEGAUNEE, MI – Jeanne Catherine Sandstrom, 80, of Keewaydin St., Negaunee, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, February 23, 2021, at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility, following a two-year battle with dementia.
Jeanne was born December 17, 1940, in Ishpeming, to Turri and Edith (Olson) Sandstrom, graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1958 and was a lifelong area resident. She attended Northern Michigan College and graduated with a two-year medical secretary degree. She soon went to work as a medical secretary for 19 years at Eye Associates of Marquette, and then another 19 years at Hematology/Oncology before retiring. She married, Ronald J. McGlone on March 4, 1988, in a double ceremony with her sister, Anne and Paul Weisel. ....
