Judith A. Schanks, loving mother, grandmother, and sister, now sings with the angels, as she was welcomed into her eternal home, January 23, 2021. She was born August 12, 1936 in Brookside, Ohio, daughter of the late Herbert and Virginia (Bass) Thoenen.
With a rich welcome and much rejoicing, she now joins her husband, Lowell, who preceded her in death in 1977.
Judith will forever be missed by those who survive; son, Jeff Schanks of Woodsfield; grandaughter, Faith Ann Schanks; grand- children, Joshua and Taylor Baker of Barnesville, Emily Baker of Saint Marys, Georgia, Hannah and Seth Anderson of Marysville, Ohio; two great- grandchildren, Elowyn and Jensen; and brother, Gene (Jean) Thoenen of St. Clairsville.
