With some answers. angie merrick from smart money magazine is here to make sense of it all. let s begin with the first email. gretchen, go ahead. hi, angie. i got the usual one like this. my chance to talk. that s the way it works. we go like this. here s the email. as a retired nurse, my question is how do the greedy drug companies fare in this so-called health reform? there has not been any mention of them. how do you respond to that? that s a question good question. i mean, the pharmaceutical industry was one of the biggest supporters of this bill and there s certainly a lot in it for them. you know, 32 million more americans a year will be insured which are obviously new customers for them. and the bill takes steps to close what s known as the donut hole for people who are on medicare so that s a period where people used to pay for drugs out of pocket. a lot of people would switch to generics and now starting in 2016, they ll have half of those expenses covered so they migh ....
