As rapper AKA continues to grieve the death of his fiancée Anele “Nelli” Tembe, musician and friend Prince Kaybee has urged the star to stay strong.
Nelli died on April 11 after apparently falling from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub hotel in Cape Town. Circumstances around her death are yet to be revealed, with police telling TshisaLIVE this week that investigations are ongoing.
AKA and Nelli got engaged in February, and the rapper met the Tembe family a few weeks ago to negotiate lobola.

Anele “Nelli” Tembe, who was 22 years old, was remembered in a touching final send off by close friends and family at the Durban International Conference Centre on Friday.
Nelli, who was engaged to rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, died on Sunday morning after apparently falling from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town.
Due to Covid-19 safety precautions, attendance at the funeral was limited to 100 people, with only family and those chosen by the family allowed to attend in person.
AKA, who was among those who accompanied Nelli s body to Durban on Wednesday, was in attendance with his parents Lynn and Tony.

Close friends and family gathered at the Durban International Conference Centre on Friday morning to pay their final respects to 22-year-old Anele “Nelli” Tembe, who died on Sunday.
Nelli was engaged to rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.
She apparently fell from the 10th floor of the five-star Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town on Sunday morning.

“As Anele s father, I categorically state that Anele was neither suicidal nor did she commit suicide. We must as a matter of priority deal with the scourge that bedevils our youth. Alcohol which is overused and drugs. Fellow South Africans we better wake up and smell the coffee, we have a serious problem with substance abuse.”
These were the words of Anele “Nelli” Tembe s father and prominent businessman Moses, who moved to set the record straight on circumstances surrounding her death.
