When we lost, my partner, mentor and friend Andrew J. Maloney last week, we lost one of the all-time great federal prosecutors. Andy left an indelible impression on a whole generation of lawyers in the Southern District U.S. Attorney’s office of Robert M. Morgenthau. He was a prosecutor’s prosecutor.
