CLEMSON, S.C. Clemson golfer Calahan Keever finished third at the J.T. Poston Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. Keever, who was playing in his first tournament for the Tigers, was one of three Clemson golfer participating as an individual in the tournament held at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley in Sapphire, N.C. Keever had a 54-hole score of 207 on the par 71 course that measures 7007 yards. The former Eastside High School star and Greenville, SC native had rounds of 71 and 67 on Monday and had a two-under-par 69 on Tuesday. He improved eight positions with his 69 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for third with Luke Koenig of Georgia Southern and Juan Callejo of Elon. Remi Chartier of East Tennessee State won the tournament with a 199 total. Keever had 15 birdies for his 54 holes, fourth in the field of 100 golfers from around the southeast. He played the par five holes at 4.44 for the tournament and the par four holes at 3.94. Keever came to Clemson in August as a transfer
