Aerial mapping on Saturday put the fire s size at 599 acres. Montana DNRC had estimated the fire s size to be 1,000 acres on Friday. According to InciWeb as of Sunday morning, Anderson Hill has burnt 647 acres and is 3 percent contained.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, county emergency services, and Joliet Volunteer Fire, the evacuation orders are placed on the Cole Creek Road and Stene Road areas.
