No need to hang up the line! The Third Street Writers have joined forces with Candice Brokenshire and Julie Setterholm, the artists who created the Forest Avenue phone booth art installation "We Need to Talk."
An after-hours event at the Laguna Art Museum brought a new perspective to the popular Joseph Kleitsch exhibit when local writers gathered to interpret the art through words on Sept. 23.
On Friday, Sept. 1, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Third Street Writers will host a public event on the Festival of the Arts grounds to celebrate the publication of “Art Inscribed,” a writing anthology inspired by art at the Festival.
Third Street Writers has been awarded a grant from the Festival of Arts Foundation for its upcoming writing project, "Art Inscribed: Writing Inspired by the 2023 FOA Fine Art Show."
