Mean any moment. We will interrupt when we see the president and bring it to you live. Were also following two explosive fights blowing wide open today, both with a battle over Donald Trumps big lie at their core. One, the internal republican civil war. On the surface it is about the growing effort to oust liz cheney from her leadership position, but it is also about so much more. The dean of the Washington Press corps, dan balz, writes, it is a sign of political cowardice. While shocking, it is not surprising for a party that has lost its way. The majority of republican lawmakers appear to have stopped believing in truth or lack the courage to speak the truth. Cheney is not among them. More on that in just a moment. The other big fight over Donald Trumps big lie is todays decision by facebooks Oversight Board to uphold for now facebooks decision to ban donald trump from its platform. The board has found that the suspension of former President Trump was necessary to keep people safe, t

Though, from washington, former President Donald Trump is exhibiting his absolute control over the Republican Party today as he explicitly endorses a candidate to replace wyoming congresswoman liz cheney as she has emerged over trumps repeated false claims and efforts to overturn the election. The former president threw his support behind stefanik. President biden was asked about that situation when he visited a Washington Restaurant Just moments ago at the white house. Watch. President, do you have any comments on the efforts to oust liz cheney from the house by republicans . It seems as though the Republican Party is trying to identify what it stands for, and theyre in the midst of significant sort of mini revolution. We need a twoparty system. Its not healthy to have a oneparty system. And i think the republicans are further away from trying to figure out who they are and what they stand for than what i thought they would be at this point. Meantime, facebook upheld the companys deci

There was reporteding from you and from your colleagues at the time that barrs statements and performances were out of staff and didnt match up with what we were learning in real time about the mueller report, and you have two federal judges saying just that, but what happens next . Im not sure where the Justice Department goes from here or anyone goes from here. Is this simply that will simply play out when this memo comes out and we get a greater sense about things or, you know, would the Justice Department go back and investigate . That is farfetched at this point. I think the bottom line here putting all of the legal arguments aside and the nuances of this case, this matter that has come up, the at the heart of this issue is the fact that this judge is the third judge to go out and publicly criticize the Attorney General and thats just something thats highly unusual. Judges criticize the Justice Department all the time. They disagree with the Justice Department all the time, but th

Ballot box in texas. Women isnt that a great flier . Look at that. Women, The Eyes Of Texas are upon you. Have you paid that poll tax . Poll taxes were still a thing back then. And, again, this was for voting in a primary, not in a general election, but this was texas in 1918, and texas for all intents and purposes was a oneparty state. It was controlled by the Southern Democrats, a very Different Party from the Democratic Party as we know it today. The Southern Democrats basically won all the elections in texas back then, so voting in the primary was basically like voting in the general. Whoever won the Southern Democrats primary was basically guaranteed to win the general election too. So it was a big deal. When texas, ahead of the United States as a whole, texas welcomed women to the ballot box in 1918 to vote in state primaries. Except there was a hitch, a really, really big hitch. This is Christyia Adair. Back in 1918, Christyia Adair was 25 years old. She was a young suffragist l

World appreciates you. Thank you, brother. But on a lighter note. It feels good to be here. We grew up right across the street in cuny homes. Thats where we were raised. We were a big family. I grew up with rodney and george was always like a Father Figure to me. We slept in the same bed and there were a lot of play fights and its real significant to be here right at home. Yeah. But i think the many reason were here, yesterday on that call, it meant the world. We were very grateful for it. If you saw that video, its selfexplanatory. We all know that it was a murder and a torture in broad daylight. We all know his civil rights were violated, but for some reason with video footage, evidence and everything supporting exactly what we saw, we somehow never get these charges and for what reason . Thats thats to be identified later, but we are grateful that other situations, and you see similar things and no charges are brought. Im going go back to the day we heard the guilty verdict. I was a
