BATH - The Eastside-Hornby Riders, a group of more than 100 UTV/ATV enthusiasts, recently donated hundreds of gifts to to be delivered to children in need to open on Christmas morning.
Greg Watkins, a member of the Eastside-Hornby Riders, which recently took part in the inaugural Painted Post Holiday Party, said the group came up with the idea of donating the Christmas gifts through Pro Action of Steuben and Yates counties while preparing for the parade.
“We’ve made donations like this in the past,” Watkins said. “Our members purchased the gifts to donate them to children in need. We’ve done it in the past for Toys for Tots and other groups, so we know how much it will mean to the kids.”
