We learned more about him and his relationship with the victim. Good evening. Martin martinez is accused of killing five people, three under six years old in a house in modesto. The bodies were found yesterday afternoon. Martinez was arrested 80 miles away overnight in san jose. A crew was in san jose. Martinez being responsible, or ruling out that anybody else could be possibly responsible for that. Martinez has not been charged in either crime. Five people in modesto is in dud in san jose. 30yearold Martin Martinez caught in the south bay this morning after a statewide manhunt. Reporter 30yearold mar contain martinez, as you mentioned, is behind bars right now here at Santa Clara County jail. Last night, police launched a statewide manhunt for him. Today he was arrested this morning, at a parking lot in oak ridge mall. Martin martinez is accused of killing five people in this modesto home. Relatives say one of the victims is dr. Amanda cruz a physician withstand slaus county Health Service agency. Relatives say he also killed his own daughter a six month old daughter he fathered with cruz. Right now police are not releasing the names of the victims, just their ages. We have identified that all the victims inside are female. All of them are related. And the children are from ages 6 months to 6 years. Neighbors are heart broken. Our children are so precious. Someone would make a childrens lives there must be a monster. Reporter
