Julie Stratos has been a leader in Branch County for decades.
Along with her successful career, Stratos was a member of Altrusa of Branch County. Over the years, her leadership was recognized and in 2021 she became the Governor of Altrusa District Five.
Many Branch County club members have served in capacities at the district level, but Stratos is the first to become governor.
“Julie has been serving as governor elect for the past two years to ready herself for the position,” said Jan Storrs, Altrusa leader.
For years, Stratos was the marketing director for the Community Health Center of Branch County, now ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. She coordinated the Women’s Health Fest, was an adjunct instructor for Kellogg Community College, on the Coldwater Downtown Development Board and helped facilitate several local non-profits including Branch County United Way, Tibbits Opera House, Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, the Presbyterian Fr
