The aim of the workshop is to review key lessons and results of the inception phase of the project which ends in May, 2021 with a view of elaborating a full phase of the program.
Monrovia – AIFO-Liberia, a professional non-profit organization and partners, have embarked on a five-day training session focused on highlighting coordinated action on persons living with disabilities in Liberia.
The workshop which kicked off on Tuesday in Monrovia aims to target the area of economic empowerment of persons with disabilities as a means to deliver positive change in their lives as well as in the overall society.

MONROVIA – In 1997, a non-governmental Human Rights-advocacy and capacity-building organization, named Association Friends of Raoul Follereau (AIFO), founded by a French Journalist in 1961, opened Office in Liberia. The Organization’s Liberia debut was through a community-based rehabilitation approach on leprosy, and later established a business setup program being run disabled people into oil palm and rice production in Montserrado, Bong, Nimba, and Grand Gedeh Counties.
