The Lincoln Blue Tigers claimed 18 event wins, nine by the men and nine by the women, during Saturday’s Lincoln Open at Dwight T. Reed Stadium. The Lincoln women cruised to a team title with 162 points. Central Methodist finished a distant second with 122 points. The Lincoln men recorded 182 points in their team win, while Missouri S&T was runner-up with 170 points.
Missouri S&T seniors Luke Allen and Jessica Rhoads garnered points in multiple events for the Miners during the Great Lakes Valley Conference indoor track and field championships, which were held Saturday and Sunday at ARC-Indianapolis.
