i don t care what side you are on, and we should, by the way, let due process play out. there are a lot of people that have already made up their minds on all sides. i think we should be opening those courts to television so that people can hear the case presented, the credibility of the witnesses, the quality of the evidence that s produced because people don t have the ability to see that, they re never going to believe what an impartial jury, remember, both sides are going to have the a say in who that jury is. and i think we need to be as transparent as possible. this lack of trust in the institutions in this country is a danger to our democracy. mike: i was looking at an article from the new york times that said the prosecution of former president trump could have terrible consequences. what do you make of that? look, i don t think anybody s above the law. i think we re a nation of laws. and i think we ve seen a lot of things that should worry all of us play out.
