EVERYONE in England is being offered two rapid lateral flow tests a week - for free. Boris Johnson has announced that from Friday (April 9) anyone without any Covid symptoms can take the tests, which give results within half an hour. The Prime Minister said: As we continue to make good progress on our vaccine programme and with our road map cautiously easing restrictions underway, regular rapid testing is even more important to make sure those efforts are not wasted. There are a number of designated sites in Somerset and people will also be able to pick up their tests at pharmacies or through the post.
