Interference charges. Now, i will remind you, the court could have just affirmed the u. S. District courts ruling that, no, a president ial does not have absolute immunity. But that was not the decision tonight. And while hearing the case does not mean that ultimately they will rule in trumps favor, the highest court in the land just gave trump something that he has been aggressively fighting for, time. The Oral Arguments in the case have been set for the week of april 22nd, nearly two months from now. Why so much time . And after that, even in a best case scenario, it will be a few weeks before a decision comes down. That is the best case considering we know that there are at least some of the Supreme Court justices who dont agree with the earlier rulings. Otherwise, they would not be hearing the case. And if the court does decide to affirm the earlier ruling, as they should, and hand the case back to District Court judge tanya chutkan, she would need a few months to get the case back

newsroom. i m jim acosta live in washington. just 16 days to go until the midterm elections. we are now getting multiple reports of voter intimidation as millions try to cast their ballots early. take a look at these images from mesa, arizona, where armed individuals wearing masks and tactical gear were stopped near a ballot drop box. maricopa county officials calling them, vigilantes, who are disrupting the voting process. the state also getting reports of so-called ballot watchers, who have set up near drop boxes to film and take pictures of people who show up. joining me now, former democratic senator from minnesota and host of the al franken podcast, al fran nk, and cnn political commentator and former special assistant to president george w. bush, scott jennings. let s get straight to it. al, let me start with you. i want to show those pictures again. they are disturbing. this is what a lot of people anticipated, heading into this midterm election cycle, because of the
party. cnn s kristin holmes is there for us at the rally. kristin, what are pennsylvania republicans saying? are they concerned about these candidates right now? well, they are absolutely concerned. according to both trump advisers as well as state republicans that i spoke to besides the fact that trump has privately criticized both candidates particularly oz, his campaign, his performance, they believe it is too late for him to actually distance himself from these races. as you said, he hand picked oz and despite pleas from state republicans endorsed mastriano in the 11th hour. so the hope now is that trump s popularity in the state will actually boost these lagging campaigns, but i ve got to tell you, jim, it might be a heavy lift, particularly when it comes to oz. i have spoken to a number of republican voters, trump supporters who say when it comes to oz they are still on the fence. they do not feel like they connect with him. they don t feel like they know anything abo
