As rains lashed Kolkata and its neighbouring districts on Saturday, the weather department has predicted light to moderate rainfall for the next three days.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), has predicted that rain and thundershowers may hit Kolkata and other districts of south Bengal during the Durga Puja days. Meanwhile, Durga Puja and other festivals will be celebrated in a low-key manner in the city for the second consecutive year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
