Chinese Foreign Minister wang yi is in washington hes been meeting us Secretary Of State Antony Blinken and is expected to meet National Security adviser jake sullivan. Blinken told the Un Security Council on tuesday he would work with the Chinese Foreign minister to prevent the middle east conflict from spreading. But talks with china are also expected to focus on trying to resolve disagreements over other issues including trade. Earlier this week, beijing restricted the exports of graphite which is used in many products, including electric cars. China produces 90 of the worlds graphite supply. The us responded by advising its top tech firms which included nvidia to stop exporting some of their latest ai products to china.
